SnOct2-Catalyzed Syntheses of Cyclic Poly(l-lactide)s with Catechol as Low-Toxic Co-catalyst
TL;DR: The cyclic structure of the resulting poly(l-lactide)s was proven by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry and by comparison of their hydrodynamic volumes with those of commercial linear polylactides.

- 16 Aug 2000
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors presented copolylactides which have been polymerized from units of racemic lactide end the comonomers.epsilon.-caprolactone,.delta.-valarolactone and 1,4-dioxan-2-one.

Polylactones. 34. Polymerizations of meso-and rac-D, L-Lactide by Means of Grignard Reagents
TL;DR: In this paper, meso-D,L-lactide was polymerized in bulk at 120°C by means of BuMgCl or EtMgBr.

Poly(ε-caprolactone) by combined ring-opening polymerization and azeotropic polycondensation—the role of cyclization and equilibration
TL;DR: In this paper, water-initiated polymerizations of e-caprolactone were conducted in bulk with variation of the monomer/water ratio, and the resulting CH2OH and CO2H- terminated polylactones were subjected in situ to azeotropic polycondensations.

13N‐NMR spectroscopy. XXXV. Sequence analysis of alternating and random copolyamides made up of aliphatic and aromatic ω‐amino acids
TL;DR: In this paper, alternating copolyamides of various ω-amino acids were synthesized by base-catalyzed polycondensation of N-isothiocyanatoacyl ω amino acids in solution.
