A hybrid device simulator that combines Monte Carlo and drift-diffusion analysis
Hans Kosina,Siegfried Selberherr +1 more
TL;DR: A hybrid simulator suitable for modeling small semiconductor devices has been developed in which Monte Carlo and drift-diffusion models are combined and a unique Monte Carlo-Poisson coupling scheme has been development which converges faster than all presently known schemes.

A numerical study of partial-SOI LDMOSFETs
TL;DR: In this article, the highvoltage and self-heating behavior of partial-SOI (silicon-on-insulator) LDMOSFETs were studied numerically.
Carrier concentration dependence of the mobility in organic semiconductors
TL;DR: In this article, an analytical model of the concentration dependent mobility based on the variable hopping range theory is formulated to analyze the discrepancy between the experimental mobilities extracted from FETs and LEDs.

Advanced Transport Models for Sub-Micrometer Devices
Tibor Grasser,Christoph Jungemann,Hans Kosina,Bernd Meinerzhagen,Siegfried Selberherr +4 more
- 01 Jan 2004
TL;DR: In this article, the authors compare the performance of the drift-diffusion model and higher-order transport models such as Stratton's energy-balance model and Blotekjaer's hydrodynamic model for submicron devices.
Temperature and field-dependence of hopping conduction in organic semiconductors
TL;DR: An analytical mobility model based on percolation theory of hopping between localized states is obtained and this model is applied to the analysis of both the electric field dependence and the temperature dependence of the mobility.
