Stimulation of Endothelin B Receptors in Astrocytes Induces cAMP Response Element-Binding Protein Phosphorylation and c-fos Expression Via Multiple Mitogen-Activated Protein Kinase Signaling Pathways
Sergio Schinelli,Sergio Schinelli,Patrizia Zanassi,Mayra Paolillo,Hang Wang,Antonio Feliciello,Vittorio Gallo +6 more
TL;DR: It is demonstrated that both ET-R subtypes are highly expressed in rat astrocytes in vivo, indicating that these cells are potential targets of the biological effects of ET-1 in the brain.

Cyclin-Dependent Kinase-2 Controls Oligodendrocyte Progenitor Cell Cycle Progression and Is Downregulated in Adult Oligodendrocyte Progenitors
Shibeshih Belachew,Adan A. Aguirre,Hang Wang,François Vautier,Xiaoqing Yuan,Stacie M. Anderson,Martha Kirby,Vittorio Gallo +7 more
TL;DR: The data indicate that cyclin E/cdk2 activity plays a pivotal function in OP cell cycle decisions occurring at G1/S checkpoint; initiation of OP differentiation is independent of cyclinE/CDk2 checkpoint, and intrinsic differences in cyclin N/N expression and activity may underlie the slowly proliferative state that characterizes so-called “quiescent” adult OP cells in vivo.

PRDM15 interacts with DNA-PK-Ku complex to promote radioresistance in rectal cancer by facilitating DNA damage repair
Yue Yu,Ting-ting Liu,Guan Yu Yu,Hang Wang,Yuanyuan Chen,Nan Yang,Kun Cao,Chunlei Liu,Zhijie Wan,Hui Shen,Fu Gao,Yanyong Yang,Wei Zhang +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the role of PRDM15 in the radioresistance of colorectal cancer was explored and the underlying mechanism was clarified, which showed that after DNA damage, PRDM 15 was upregulated and localized to DNA damage sites, co-localizing with γ-H2AX.

LncRNA ANRIL promotes HR repair through regulating PARP1 expression by sponging miR-7-5p in lung cancer
Fangxiao Zhang,Lei Liu,Hui-ming Shen,Ting-ting Liu,Jing Jin,Nanxi Yu,Zhijie Wan,Hang Wang,Xuguang Hu,Yuanyuan Chen,Jianming Cai +10 more
TL;DR: In this article , the miR-7-5p/PARP1 axis was found to have a negative correlation between ANRIL expression changes before and after ionizing radiation, and it was confirmed by Western blot and immunofluorescence staining.
Overexpression of TRPM7 promotes the therapeutic effect of curcumin in wound healing through the STAT3/SMAD3 signaling pathway in human fibroblasts.
Hongzhuang Zhang,Helin Li,Hang Wang,Shaojun Lei,Li Yan +4 more
TL;DR: Wang et al. as discussed by the authors explored the function of curcumin in the wound healing process and concluded that over-expression of TRPM7 might contribute to wound healing, and these effects were mediated by the signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3)/SMAD family member 3/hypoxia-inducible factor 1 subunit alpha signaling pathway.
