Increased delivery of doxorubicin into tumor cells using extracellularly activated TAT functionalized liposomes: in vitro and in vivo study.
Wenmin Yuan,Rui Kuai,Rui Ran,Lin Fu,Yuting Yang,Yao Qin,Yayuan Liu,Jie Tang,Han Fu,Qianyu Zhang,Mingqing Yuan,Zhirong Zhang,Fabao Gao,Qin He +13 more
TL;DR: An optimal formulation for the encapsulation of Doxorubicin (DOX) by this delivery system for tumor treatment was developed and showed that the C-TAT-Lipo with Cys delivery system not only enhanced the amount of DOX delivered by at least 100% compared to other DOX-containing formulations, but also displayed high cytotoxicity against tumorigenic cell lines.

A detachable coating of cholesterol-anchored PEG improves tumor targeting of cell-penetrating peptide-modified liposomes
TL;DR: The present results demonstrate that the combination of cholestervsitive PEG and CPPs is an ideal alternative for the application of CPP-modified carriers in vivo.
PEGylated Hyaluronic Acid‐Modified Liposomal Delivery System with Anti‐γ‐Glutamylcyclotransferase siRNA for Drug‐Resistant MCF‐7 Breast Cancer Therapy
TL;DR: Systemic administration of anti-GGCT-loaded PEG-HA-NP was proved to be a promising strategy for drug-resistant MCF-7 breast cancer therapy by systemic administration.
Tumor‐Targeted Paclitaxel Delivery and Enhanced Penetration Using TAT‐Decorated Liposomes Comprising Redox‐Responsive Poly(Ethylene Glycol)
Han Fu,Kairong Shi,Guanlian Hu,Yuting Yang,Qifang Kuang,Libao Lu,Li Zhang,Wenfei Chen,Mingling Dong,Yantao Chen,Qin He +10 more
TL;DR: C-TAT-LP is a promising tumor-targeting drug carrier that achieved enhanced tumor distribution and demonstrated superior delivery efficiency in vivo and has no obvious drug-related adverse events for liver and heart.
