Disclosed are a pulse laser Raman spectrum measuring instrument and method. The pulse laser Raman spectrum measuring instrument comprises a laser light source, a light modulator, a slit, a concave-surface reflecting mirror, a grating, an array photodetector, a multi-channel genlock amplifier and a communication interface; the pulse laser Raman spectrum measuring instrument is characterized in thatthe laser light source is emitted onto the surface of a sample after being subjected to pulse intensity modulation by a light modulator; Raman light generated on the surface of the sample is reflected and emitted into the grating by the concave-surface reflecting mirror after being reflected to the slit; a spectrum diffracted by the grating is emitted into the array photodetector; an electrical signal output by each pixel in the array photodetector is synchronously processed by the multi-channel genlock amplifier; the amplitudes of all the processed pixels are transmitted to the outside through the communication interface. According to the pulse laser Raman spectrum measuring instrument and method, a phase locking amplification technique is utilized for extracting the Raman signals on thearray photodetector, and since the Raman signals have a certain modulation frequency, noise signals and background signals within other frequency ranges can be filtered out.
