TL;DR: Investigations show that the doping concentration plays significant role in photocatalytic performance, the visible light absorption shown by Fe-Cd co-doped ZnO nanoparticles is much higher than that of undoped body probably due to co- doping, and the charge carrier recombination is decreased effectively which yields a higher photocatallytic performance.
Microstructure, mechanical and tribological properties of WC/a-C:H coatings deposited by cathodic arc ion-plating
Wei Wang,Vasiliy O. Pelenovich,M.I. Yousaf,S.J. Yan,Han Bin,Zesong Wang,Alexander Tolstogouzov,Pravin Kumar,Bing Yang,Dejun Fu +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a cathodic arc ion-plating system was used to synthesize nanocomposite WC/a-C:H coatings with tungsten concentration of 6−10 at.% with a thickness of 1−2μm.
