An Intraoral Miniature X-ray Tube Based on Carbon Nanotubes for Dental Radiography
TL;DR: In this paper, a carbon-nanotube electron emitter was employed for the application of a dental radiography system, where X-rays are generated only to the teeth directions using a collimator while X-ray generated to other directions are shielded.

Behavior of characteristic X-rays from a partial-transmission-type X-ray target
TL;DR: The Monte Carlo N-Particle (MCNP5) simulation results revealed that the characteristic X-ray flux is not always isotropic around the target, and the flux mainly depends on the target thickness and the energy of the incident electron beam.

Formation of hierarchical TiO 2 nanoporous structure from free-standing TiO 2 nanotubes layers
TL;DR: In this article, a hierarchical structure with nanopores formation in the walls of free-standing TiO2 nanotubes (TNTs) is achieved when the annealing rate is 3°C/min.
