Performance and extracellular polymers substance analysis of a pilot scale anaerobic membrane bioreactor for treating tetrahydrofuran pharmaceutical wastewater at different HRTs
Dongxue Hu,Xue Li,Zhaobo Chen,Yubo Cui,Fuguang Gu,Fuquan Jia,Tingting Xiao,Haiyan Su,Jiao Xu,Haixu Wang,Pan Wu,Ying Zhang +11 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that THF pharmaceutical wastewater can be effectively remedied in the AnMBR system at low HRT.

Performance of a pilot split-type anaerobic membrane bioreactor (AnMBR) treating antibiotics solvent wastewater at low temperatures
Dongxue Hu,Jiao Xu,Zhaobo Chen,Pan Wu,Zhijiang Wang,Peier Wang,Tingting Xiao,Haiyan Su,Xue Li,Haixu Wang,Ying Zhang +10 more
TL;DR: In this article, the performance of a split-type anaerobic membrane bioreactor (AnMBR) configuration for treating antibiotics solvent wastewater at low temperatures was evaluated in this study.

The performance and membrane fouling rate of a pilot-scale anaerobic membrane bioreactor for treating antibiotic solvent wastewater under different cross flow velocity.
Zhaobo Chen,Tingting Xiao,Dongxue Hu,Jiao Xu,Xue Li,Fuquan Jia,Haixu Wang,Fuguang Gu,Haiyan Su,Ying Zhang +9 more
TL;DR: It is suggested that the model proposed could reflect and manage the membrane fouling of AnMBR treating antibiotic solvent wastewater and showed that model well fitted the laboratory data.

Performance and methane fermentation characteristics of a pilot scale anaerobic membrane bioreactor (AnMBR) for treating pharmaceutical wastewater containing m-cresol (MC) and iso-propyl alcohol (IPA).
Zhaobo Chen,Xue Li,Dongxue Hu,Yubo Cui,Fuguang Gu,Fuquan Jia,Tingting Xiao,Haiyan Su,Jiao Xu,Haixu Wang,Pan Wu,Ying Zhang,Na Jiang +12 more
TL;DR: The investigation of methanogen community showed that methanosarcinaceae was always dominant acetoclastic methanogens and methanomicrobiales was the dominant hydrogen utilizers throughout the operational period.

Effect of the high cross flow velocity on performance of a pilot-scale anaerobic membrane bioreactor for treating antibiotic solvent wastewater.
TL;DR: The results indicated that AnMBR can effectively treat the antibiotic solvent wastewater under high CFV, and the concentration of biomass, polysaccharide and protein presented opposite trends in the attached sludge of the membrane.
