Ultrasound sensitizes chemotherapy in chemoresistant ovarian cancers
TL;DR: In this paper, ultrasonic chemosensitization was investigated in refractory ovarian cancer using SKOV 3 /ADR or COC1/DDP subline as a model of adriamycin- or cisplatin-resistance, ultrasound sensitized chemotherapy via increasing intracellular drug accumulation, enhancing druginduced apoptosis and decreasing the threshold dose for cell apoptosis/necrosis.
