Microstructures and Wear Resistance of FeCoCrNi-Mo High Entropy Alloy/Diamond Composite Coatings by High Speed Laser Cladding
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of laser power, scanning speed, and diamond content on the microstructure and wear resistance of composite coatings were studied, and the best combination of microstructures and wear resistances was obtained.

Effect of diffusion barrier and interfacial strengthening on the interface behavior between high entropy alloy and diamond
TL;DR: In this article, the double effect of diffusion barrier and interfacial strengthening on the interface behavior in a Ti-coated diamond and high entropy alloy (HEA) composite was investigated, and first-principles simulations exhibited that the in-situ formed TiC played a significant role as a diffusion barrier between diamond and HEA matrix, resulting in the reduction of sp2 hybridization of diamond and enhanced the interface bonding strength.

Microstructure evolution and mechanical properties of in-situ multi-component carbides reinforced FeCoNi alloy
TL;DR: Based on the design principle of high entropy alloy, (Fe40Co50Ni10)-(VNbTaZrCx) alloys strengthened by in-situ high entropy multi-component carbides (MCCs) were fabricated by introducing refractory metal elements (V, Nb, Ta, Zr) and their carbides into FeCoNi alloy via vacuum arc melting as mentioned in this paper.
