Yu Bingxia,Tan Zhiping,Chen Mei,Chen Zhibao,Cheng Xu,Hai Zhou,Ding Jie,Cui Fang,Wang Zhijia,Cao Xiao,Ding Yuyu,Zhou Qiang,Ding Huang,Zhu Xiang +13 more
- 25 Feb 2015
TL;DR: In this article, an ultra-short period wind power prediction method based on a wind speed factor control model was proposed, which includes performing an ultra short period prediction according to an ARIMA (autoregressive integrated moving average) model; performing the ultra short-period power prediction using a BP (back propagation) neutral network model; and completing the ultrashort period power prediction based on the wind speed-factor control model.

The influence of wind direction on short-term wind power prediction: A case study in north China
Ding Yuyu,Hai Zhou,Tan Zhiping,Chen Ying,Jie Ding +4 more
- 21 May 2012
TL;DR: In this paper, a short-term wind power forecasting model is developed based on the data of wind speed, wind direction, wind farm output and numerical weather prediction, which is applied on a wind farm in north China.

Research on the mapping model for provincial wind power prediction
Zhibao Chan,Hai Zhou,Jie Ding +2 more
- 21 May 2012
TL;DR: In this article, three methods for the mapping model for provincial wind power prediction are presented: curve fitting, weighted average and radial base function networks based on multiple linear regression, which are tested by forecasting horizon of 24h ahead and compared with their performance.
