trans-Diaquabis(1H-imidazole-4,5-dicarboxylato-κ2N3,O4)cadmium(II)
TL;DR: The watercoordinated Cd atom in the title compound, [Cd(C5H3N2O4)(H2O)2], lies on an inversion center and is N,O-chelated by imidazole-4,5-di-carboxylate anions, defining an octahedral environment.

Thermodynamics and Kinetics of Gas-Phase CO Oxidation on the Scandium Monoxide Carbonyl Complexes.
TL;DR: Comparisons of the experimental spectra with the simulated ones have established the geometries and present strong evidence that all of CO ligands are chemisorbed, which could not be readily oxidized by scandium monoxide core into CO2.

A giant enhancement of magnetic moment in a ternary three-shell icosahedral cluster: Fe@Mn12@Au20
Xi Bai,Jin Lv,Hai-Shun Wu +2 more
TL;DR: The average magnetic moment per atom of the Mn13 cluster is expected to be enhanced by doping or coating with a shell as mentioned in this paper, and several ternary core-shell icosahedral clusters TM@Mn12@Au20 were constructed by c...

Structure and stability of boron nitride cages
TL;DR: The structure and energy of boron nitrides (BN)n (n = 10−41) have been investigated theoretically and the most stable cages have been constructed on the basis of a simple design principle, and the predicated stability has been validated at the B3LYP/6-31G* level of theory as mentioned in this paper.
