Characteristics of electron temperature profile stiffness in electron-heated plasmas on EAST
J.W. Liu,Qiong Zhang,Y.H. Huang,Erzhong Li,L.Q. Xu,A. Knieps,Y. Chu,Yan Chao,Y.C. Hu,Y.F. Jin,H.Q. Liu,H. Zhao,Bo Lyu,X. Gong,the EAST team +14 more
TL;DR: In this paper , power balance analysis shows that the increase of ECRH power can increase the normalized T e gradient significantly at the plasma core region (ρ < 0.6), but does not change the T e profile stiffness in the low-density L-mode plasmas.

Observation and analysis of lower-hybrid-current-drive density limit in EAST
M. H. Li,Seung Gyou Baek,G.M. Wallace,Bing Ding,C.B. Wu,G.H. Yan,P.T. Bonoli,Mu Wang,L. Liu,L. M. Zhao,Z.G. Wu,H. Yang,S. Y. Lin,Qiong Zhang,Ning Yan,H. Zhao,J. Huang,X. Zhai,X.X. Li,X.J. Zhang,X. Gong +20 more
TL;DR: In this paper , lower hybrid current drive (LHCD) experiments with line-averaged density up to ∼5.1 × 1019 m−3 were performed in EAST L-mode plasmas, and the experimental results showed that the LHCD density limit can be increased with higher wave source frequency (f 0) and higher magnetic field (B t).

Observation of electrostatic fluctuations driven by runaway electrons in EAST disruptions
Tian Tang,Long Zeng,Zhiyong Qiu,S. Y. Lin,Y.W. Sun,X. Zhou,D.L. Chen,Y. Huang,Yanmin Duan,L.Q. Xu,H.D. Zhuang,H.Q. Liu,Jinping Qian,Changrong Luo,Ang Ti,H. Zhao,Y. X. Jie,Y. F. Liang,Xiang Gao +18 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the geodesic acoustic mode proposed as a candidate instability is further discussed, and the barely trapped/passing electrons can contribute to drive the mode, which supports the possibility of kinetic instability for RE mitigation in a tokamak reactor.
Impact of coherent mode on divertor particle and heat flux in a type I ELMy H mode plasma on EAST tokamak
Feifei Long,Tao Zhang,Tingfeng Ming,X.J. Liu,L.Y. Meng,M.F. Wu,B. Li,R. R. Liang,M. Q. Wu,Baolong Hao,T Tang,M.W. Chen,S.C. Liu,Y.M. Wang,X. Han,H.Q. Liu,H. Zhao,Qiong Zhang,Liang Wang,Long Zeng,G.Q. Li,Xiang Gao,the EAST team +22 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors investigated the effect of pedestal turbulence on the divertor total particle flux, the particle flux distribution and heat flux distribution, and their decay lengths in the scrape-off layer (SOL) region on EAST tokamak.
