The critical state instability in Nb3Al: Experiment and simulation
Victor Chabanenko,Adam Nabiałek,Alexander Dyachenko,S. Vasiliev,Ganna Svinchuk,A. Szewczyk,M. U. Gutowska,H. Szymczak,Stanislaw Piechota +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the critical state instability and thermomagnetic avalanches in Nb 3 Al superconducting alloy were investigated both theoretically and experimentally, and the experimental dependencies of the heat capacity and critical current density as functions of temperature and magnetic field were built.
Magnetism and superconductivity in RBaSrCuO (R Gd, Dy)
TL;DR: The influence of substitution of Ba 2+ with Sr 2+ on superconducting and magnetic properties of ceramic RBa 2− x Sr x Cu 3 O 7−δ (R Gd, Dy; x = 0.5, 1.0) samples with different oxygen content has been investigated in this article.
Influence of Er3+ ions on 53Cr NMR in domain walls of LuCrO3
TL;DR: As a result of Er 3+ doping, the enhancement factor is lowered and the relaxation rate of 53 Cr NMR in domain walls of LuCrO 3 is decreased as mentioned in this paper. These effects are due to the drop of magnetocrystalline anisotropy.
Superconductivity and Magnetic Properties of Spin-Ladder Compounds
H. Szymczak,R. Szymczak,M. Baran,L.I. Leonyuk,G.-J. Babonas,V. V. Maltsev +5 more
- 01 Jan 2000
TL;DR: A review of the structural, magnetic and transport studies on two-leg spinladder (M 2CU2O3)m(CuO2)n systems is given in this article.
Quasi-one-dimensional S = 1/2 magnet Pb[Cu(SO4)(OH)2]: frustration due to competing in-chain exchange
M. Baran,A. Jedrzejczak,H. Szymczak,V. V. Maltsev,G. Kamieniarz,G. Szukowski,Claire Loison,A. Ormeci,S.-L. Drechsler,Helge Rosner +9 more
TL;DR: In this paper, zero-field susceptibility and specific heat of Pb[Cu(SO4)(OH)2] (linarite) single crystal were measured and the possibility of various ground states was discussed in terms of the screened onsite repulsion: commensurate Neel or spin-Peierls phases versus incommensurate spiral states with acute or obtuse pitch angles.
