Physical properties of A-C:N films produced by ion beam assisted deposition
François Rossi,Bernard Andre,A. van Veen,P.E. Mijnarends,H. Schut,F. Labohm,Hugh Dunlop,Marie Paule Delplancke,Kevin M. Hubbard +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, it was found that the hardness and Young's modulus of a-C:N films go through a maximum as the average damage energy is increased, which is consistent with a densification induced by the collisions at low average damage energies and induced graphitization at higher damage energies.

Physical properties of nitrogenated amorphous carbon films produced by ion-beam-assisted deposition
François Rossi,Bernard Andre,A. van Veen,P.E. Mijnarends,H. Schut,F. Labohm,Marie Paule Delplancke,Hugh Dunlop,Eric Anger +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, an ion-beam-assisted magnetron with an N2+ beam at energies between 50 and 300 eV was used to prepare carbon films with up to 32 at.% N (a-C:N).

Accumulation of charges in polycarbonate due to positron irradiation
TL;DR: In this article, the authors focus on the charging created in polycarbonate by positron radiation, which they investigated by the laser intensity modulation method and by chargedecay experiments, both isothermally and with thermal stimulated discharge.

Microstructural evolution of non-hydrogenated amorphous carbon under ion beam assistance
TL;DR: Amorphous carbon films have been deposited by ion beam assisted techniques and characterized by high resolution transmission electron microscopy, electron energy loss spectroscopy, and positron annihilation spectroscope.

Accumulation of charges in polycarbonate due to positron irradiation
Daniele Cangialosi,H. Schut,Michael Wübbenhorst,J. van Turnhout,A. van Veen +4 more
- 10 Dec 2002
TL;DR: In this article, the authors focus on the charging created in polycarbonate (PC) by positron radiation, which they investigated by the laser intensity modulation method (LIMM) and by chargedecay experiments, both isothermally and with TSD.
