TL;DR: An improved synthesis of 4,6-dichloro-2-phenoxy-1,3,5,-triazine from cyanuric chloride and phenol in the presence of collidine (2,4,6,trimethyl-pyridine) induced as mentioned in this paper to investigate the scope and limitation of the substitution of one chlorine atom in CCL and the influence of the base used as an acid acceptor.
