TL;DR: For AIS-LVO, IVT + MT is associated with slightly better rates of survival, successful and complete recanalization, and favorable functional outcome as compared with MT alone, and further clinical trials are needed to corroborate such benefits of bridging IVT.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors conducted a systematic review and meta-analysis to investigate the association between cerebral microbleeds and dementia and highlight the possible explanations, and found that CMBs significantly increased the risk of developing dementia (RR 1.84, 95% CI [1.27 to 2.65]).
