Large magnetic gap at the Dirac point in a Mn-induced Bi$_2$Te$_3$ heterostructure
E. D. L. Rienks,Sebastian Wimmer,P. S. Mandal,Ondrej Caha,Jiří Růžička,Andreas Ney,H. Steiner,Valentine V. Volobuev,Heiko Groiss,M. Albu,Saleem Ayaz Khan,J. Minár,H. Ebert,Gerrit E. W. Bauer,Andrei Varykhalov,Jaime Sánchez-Barriga,Oliver Rader,G. Springholz +17 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used low temperature photoelectron spectroscopy to unambiguously reveal the magnetic gap of Mn-doped Bi$_2$Te$_3$ films, which is present only below $T_C.

Theory of relativistic photoemission for correlated magnetic alloys:LSDA+DMFTstudy of the electronic structure ofNixPd1−x
TL;DR: In this paper, a relativistic version of the layer-Korringa-Kohn-Rostoker theory is applied to photoemission data of the magnetic alloy system NixPd1−x 001.

Monitoring surface resonances on Co2MnSi (100) by spin-resolved photoelectron spectroscopy
Jürgen Braun,Martin Jourdan,Alexander Kronenberg,Stanislav Chadov,Benjamin Balke,M. Kolbe,Andrei Gloskovskii,Hans-Joachim Elmers,Gerd Schönhense,Claudia Felser,M. Klaeui,H. Ebert,Jan Minár +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the surface resonance is embedded in the bulk continuum with a strong coupling to the majority bulk states, and the resonance behaves very bulk-like, as it extends over the first six atomic layers of the corresponding (001)-surface.

Temperature dependent electronic transport in concentrated solid solutions of the 3 d -transition metals Ni, Fe, Co and Cr from first principles
German D. Samolyuk,Sai Mu,Andrew F. May,B. C. Sales,Sebastian Wimmer,Sergey Mankovsky,H. Ebert,G. M. Stocks +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, an approach for the calculation of transport coefficients via the Mott relations was applied to calculate finite temperature transport properties of disordered alloys and the electronic part of thermal conductivity.
