- 07 Aug 2002
TL;DR: In this paper, a high efficiency multiple beam klystron, designated the VKL-8301, is developed for the DESY superconducting linear accelerator TESLA in Hamburg, Germany.

700 MHz HOM-IOT: design and first test results
H. Bohlen,F. Friedlander,E. Lien,M. Mizuhara,K. Stothers,R. Wilcox,M. Lynch,D. Rees +7 more
- 02 May 2000
TL;DR: In this paper, a 700 MHz HOM-IOT, sponsored by the Los Alamos National Laboratory, has been carried out by CPI to suppress both unwanted modes and stray radiation from the space between electron gun and body.

Design of a multiple beam klystron for TESLA
Adam Balkcum,E. Wright,H. Bohlen,L. Cox,M. Cattelino,M. Cusick,F. Friedlander,B. Stockwell,L. Zitelli +8 more
- 28 May 2003
TL;DR: In this article, a 10 MW, 1300 MHz multiple beam klystron for TESLA superconducting linear accelerator is reported. And the beam optics design has been verified by fully 3D simulations using the codes Michelle and Mafia.
