Federico Sackmann-Muriel,Svarch E,Mariana Eppinger-Helft,J. L. Braier,Santiago Pavlovsky,Liliana Guman,Berta Vergara,Carlos Ponzinibbio,Renato Failace,Guy Garay,Enrique Bugnard,Felix G. Ojeda,Roberto de Bellis,Susana R. De Sijvarger,Jorge Saslavsky +14 more
TL;DR: The variables studied in this protocol did not show significant extension of complete remission, however the sum of them seems to offer some advantage; however, those who received intensification, daily maintenance and further intrathecal therapy behaved slightly better.

Comparison of central nervous system prophylaxis with cranial radiation and intrathecal methotrexate versus intrathecal methotrexate alone in acute lymphoblastic leukemia
Federico Sackmann Muriel,Svarch E,Santiago Pavlovsky,Mariana Eppinger-Helft,Jorge Braier,Berta Vergara,Guy Garay,Rita Kvicala,Jorge M. Divito,Renato Failace,Eduardo Dibar,Elias Jimenez +11 more
TL;DR: A randomized study comparing the use of additional doses of i.t. MTX-DMT alone during induction plus 3 doses weekly during the first month of remission and every 3 mo thereafter concludes that it is not of further benefit in preventing CNS relapse.

Chemoimmunotherapy with Corynebacterium parvum in acute myelocytic leukemia.
Mariana Eppinger-Helft,Santiago Pavlovsky,Guillermo Hidalgo,Federico Sackmann Muriel,Argimiro Suarez,Guy Garay,Carlos Russo,Maria José Santos,Alfredo Macchi,Jose Mario Lein +9 more
TL;DR: This method seems useful in preventing central nervous system relapse in patients with acute myeloblastic leukemia, but does not seem to prolong complete remission.

Immunocompetence and prognosis in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia: combination of two different maintenance therapies.
Guy Garay,Santiago Pavlovsky,María Del Carmen Sasiain,Marco Pizzolato,Norma Binsztein,Mariana Eppinger-Helft +5 more
TL;DR: Patients of both groups with higher levels of immunocompetence had better prognosis with longer duration of complete remission than patients with severe immunosuppression.

TL;DR: A randomized controlled study to compare differences in efficacy of treatment in Hodgkin's disease using six courses of cyclophosphamide, vinblastine, procarbazine and prednisone (CVPP) versus the same drugs plus CCNU (CCVPP).
