High-density genetic linkage map construction by F2 populations and QTL analysis of early-maturity traits in upland cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.).
Libei Li,Shuqi Zhao,Junji Su,Shuli Fan,Chaoyou Pang,Hengling Wei,Hantao Wang,Lijiao Gu,Chi Zhang,Chi Zhang,Guoyuan Liu,Dingwei Yu,Qibao Liu,Xianlong Zhang,Shuxun Yu,Shuxun Yu +15 more
TL;DR: A high-density linkage map of upland cotton was constructed using genotyping by sequencing to discover single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) markers associated with early maturity in 170 F2 individuals derived from a cross between LU28 and ZHONG213, which could provide useful information for the dissection of early-maturity traits and guide valuable genetic loci for molecular-assisted selection (MAS) in cotton breeding.
Genome-wide identification and expression analyses of the pectate lyase (PEL) gene family in cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.)
Huiru Sun,Huiru Sun,Pengbo Hao,Pengbo Hao,Qiang Ma,Meng Zhang,Yuan Qin,Yuan Qin,Hengling Wei,Junji Su,Hantao Wang,Lijiao Gu,Nuohan Wang,Nuohan Wang,Guoyuan Liu,Shuxun Yu,Shuxun Yu +16 more
TL;DR: The results indicate that GhPELs play significant and functionally diverse roles in the development of different tissues, especially in pollen, fiber and the auxin signaling pathway.
Genome-wide identification and expression analysis of the BURP domain-containing genes in Gossypium hirsutum
Huiru Sun,Huiru Sun,Hengling Wei,Hantao Wang,Pengbo Hao,Pengbo Hao,Lijiao Gu,Guoyuan Liu,Liang Ma,Su Zhengzheng,Shuxun Yu,Shuxun Yu +11 more
TL;DR: This study comprehensively analyzed BURP genes in G. hirsutum, providing insight into the functions of GhBURPs in cotton development and adaptation to stresses and indicated that the Gh BURPs may performed important functions in cotton's responses to various abiotic stresses.
