Differences in Gamma-H2AX Foci Formation after Irradiation with Continuous and Pulsed Proton Beams
O. Zlobinskaya,Thomas Schmid,Günther Dollinger,V. Hable,Christoph Greubel,D. Michalski,Jan J. Wilkens,Guanghua Du,Michael Molls,Barbara Röper +9 more
- 01 Jan 2009
TL;DR: In this paper, the relative biological effectiveness (RBE) of high-intensity laser acceleration was investigated based on quantitative analysis of γ-H2AX fluorescence -a known marker of DNA double strand breaks (DSBs).

A carbon minibeam irradiation facility concept
TL;DR: The presented irradiation facility exceeds the requirements for hadron minibeam therapy because it focuses the LINAC beam to submillimeter minibeams and the resulting beam parameters at the focal plane is evaluated by TOPAS simulations.
