Determination of the entropy changes in the compounds with a first-order magnetic transition
TL;DR: In this article, a tower-shaped entropy change of the height of ∼27J∕kgK is obtained based on the analyses of heat capacity, while the Maxwell relation predicts an extra entropy peak of the length of the tower, slightly varying with the Pr content.

Entropy changes due to the first-order phase transition in the Gd5SixGe4−x system
TL;DR: In this article, the magnetostructrual phase transition in Gd5sixGe4−x intermetallics has been studied based on a systematic analysis of experiment data and mean-field theory calculations.

Polarization-induced remote interfacial charge scattering in Al2O3/AlGaN/GaN double heterojunction high electron mobility transistors
TL;DR: In this paper, polarization-induced remote interfacial charge scattering, a scattering mechanism caused by the interfacial polarization charge, for Al2O3/AlGaN/GaN double heterojunction high electron mobility transistors (HEMTs) was investigated.

Magnetic, electronic, and thermal transport properties of Eu0.55Sr0.45MnO3
TL;DR: In this article, a complex magnetic behavior with the change of temperature and magnetic field was found in a Griffiths-like state in a wide temperature range above the threshold of $15.

Effect of current processing on the transport property of the La0.67Ca0.33MnO3 film
TL;DR: In this paper, the current effect on the transport property of the La067Ca033MnO3 film has been studied as a function of temperature and magnetic field and the two-lead resistance of the sample shows a strongly asymmetric behavior with respect to current direction after a treatment under a current of the density of ∼16×105A∕cm2, and the resistance is much lower in forward direction, the direction of the processing current, than in backward direction.
