Single Cell Mass Cytometry for Phenotypic Analysis of Diffuse Large B-Cell Lymphoma
Manabu Kusakabe,Guillermo Simkin,Justin Meskas,Chaoran Zhang,Daisuke Ennishi,Merrill Boyle,David Scott,Christian Steidl,Randy D. Gascoyne,Ryan R. Brinkman,Andrew P. Weng +10 more
TL;DR: Findings suggest intratumoral heterogeneity can be resolved by high dimensional CyTOF analysis and ongoing efforts will focus on determining if phenotypically defined subsets show enrichment for subclonal mutations.

Eltrombopag inhibits the proliferation of leukemia cells via reduction of intracellular iron and induction of differentiation
Michael Roth,Michael Roth,Britta Will,Guillermo Simkin,Swathi Rao Narayanagari,Laura Barreyro,Boris Bartholdy,Roni Tamari,Constantine S. Mitsiades,Amit Verma,Ulrich Steidl +10 more
TL;DR: It is found that treatment with EP leads to a reduction in free intracellular iron in leukemic cells in a dose-dependent manner, and determination of EP's antileukemic activity in vivo demonstrated its ability to prolong survival in 2 mouse models of leukemia.
