Morphology of electrodeposited poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene)/poly(4-styrene sulfonate) films
TL;DR: In this paper, a gas bubble template mechanism has been proposed for the synthesis of poly(4-styrene sulfonate)-doped poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT/PSS) films with ring-, arrow-, and bubble-like micro-structures.

Size-controlled synthesis of monodispersed gold nanoparticles stabilized by polyelectrolyte-functionalized ionic liquid
TL;DR: The size-controlled synthesis of monodispersed gold nanoparticles stabilized by polyelectrolyte-functionalized ionic liquid (PFIL) showed a high stability in water at room temperature for at least one month and exhibited obvious electrocatalytical activity toward β-nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide oxidation, suggesting a potential application for bioelectroanalysis.

Fabrication and electrochemical characterization of electrostatic assembly of polyelectrolyte-functionalized ionic liquid and Prussian blue ultrathin films
TL;DR: In this article, polyelectrolyte-functionalized ionic liquid (PFIL) and Prussian blue (PB) nanoparticles were used to fabricate ultrathin films on the ITO substrate through electrostatic layer-by-layer assembly method.

Synthesis and properties of ferrocene-functionalised polythiophene derivatives
TL;DR: The ferrocene-functionalised thiophene derivatives (TFn) with different length of oxyethylene chains were synthesized and polymerized chemically with iron (III) chloride as an oxidant as discussed by the authors.

Electro-assisted precipitation of electrolytes in poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) film
TL;DR: In this paper, a quantitative analysis of energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDX) confirmed the enrichment of NaBF 4 in poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) film during the p-doping potential cycling between 0.6 and −0.9 V.
