Formation of NiFe2O4 nanoparticles by mechanochemical reaction
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated the effect of thermal treatment temperature on the crystal size of NiFe2O4 nanoparticles and calculated the activation energy of nanoparticles formation during calcination.

Solvothermal synthesis and magnetic properties of size-controlled nickel ferrite nanoparticles
TL;DR: In this paper, the size of the nanoparticles can be easily controlled from 6 to 170 nm by adjusting the experimental parameters such as reaction duration, initial concentration of the reactants, amount of protective reagents, and the type of acetates.
147
Solvothermal synthesis and characterization of size-controlled Fe3O4 nanoparticles
TL;DR: In this paper, size-controlled Fe 3 O 4 nanoparticles were prepared via a facile solvothermal method by using the mixed surfactants of SDS and PEG as protective reagents.
142
Mechanochemical synthesis of cobalt oxide nanoparticles
TL;DR: In this article, a Co 3 O 4 nanoparticle was synthesized by thermal treatment of the precursor obtained via mechanochemical reaction of Co(NO 3 ) 2 ·6H 2 O with NH 4 HCO 3.

Lanthanide hydroxide nanorods and their thermal decomposition to lanthanide oxide nanorods
TL;DR: In this article, the influence of reaction temperature and concentration of triethylamine on the formation of lanthanum hydroxide nanorods were investigated, and phase structures, morphologies and optical properties of the as-prepared products were investigated in detail by X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and selected area electron diffraction (SAED).
