MicroRNA-30a promotes B cell hyperactivity in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus by direct interaction with Lyn.
TL;DR: Investigation of why the level of Lyn is significantly decreased in B cells from a majority of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus and the role of microRNA-30a in SLE found it to play an important role in B cell hyperactivity reveals that elevated expression of miR-30A is responsible for the reduction in levels of Lyn.

MYSM1/miR-150/FLT3 inhibits B1a cell proliferation.
Xiao-Xia Jiang,Yu Liu,Hong Li,Yaping Gao,Rong Mu,Jianping Guo,Jing Zhang,Yan-Mei Yang,Fengjun Xiao,Bing Liu,Wang Changyong,Beifen Shen,Si-Yi Chen,Zhanguo Li,Guang Yang +14 more
TL;DR: This study uncovers a novel pathway MYSM1/miR-150/FLT3 that inhibits proliferation of B1a, which may be involved in the pathogenesis of SLE.
Twenty-seven-nucleotide repeat insertion in the rplV gene confers specific resistance to macrolide antibiotics in Staphylococcus aureus.
TL;DR: It is identified that a 27-nucleotide repeat sequence insertion in the rplV gene induced a specific resistance to macrolide antibiotics in S. aureus, and it is shown that the ectopic expression of the mutated rPLV gene containing the 27-nt repeat sequence inserted in several susceptible strains specifically conferred resistance tomacrolideiotics.
