Minimum fuel guidance law for the powered descending phase of a lunar module
Feng Zhang,Guang-Ren Duan,Yongzheng Shan +2 more
- 25 Sep 2009
TL;DR: In this paper, a 3-dimensional precise kinetic model is formulated for the powered descending phase of a lunar module and an open-loop parametric optimal guidance law is derived by using a computational method and a time scaling transform technique.

Sliding mode control based on robust parametric approach for spacecraft rendezvous
Guang-Ren Duan,Kai Zhang +1 more
- 27 Jul 2016
TL;DR: In this paper, a sliding mode control scheme with robust parametric approach is proposed for a class of second-order mechanical systems subject to parameter uncertainties and unmodeled dynamics, and the finite time convergence in reaching phase is guaranteed by the Lyapunov stability theory.

Design of P2D observers for second-order dynamic systems
Guang-Ren Duan,Jian Liu +1 more
- 27 Jul 2016
TL;DR: The design method of P2D observers in second-order dynamic systems is proposed, which provides the complete parameterizations for all of the gain matrices and the parametric expression for the left eigenvector matrix of the observer system.

Enhanced mixed L/sub 2/ - L/sub /spl infin///H/sub /spl infin// filtering for continuous-time uncertain systems
Liang He,Aiguo Wu,Guang-Ren Duan +2 more
- 08 May 2006
TL;DR: In this paper, new LMI criteria for continuous-time uncertain systems are proposed, which keep the Lyapunov matrices out of any product with the system matrices.

H ∞ Fault-Tolerant Controller Design for Time-Delay Systems Based on a State Observer
Fuming Li,Lijun Zhao,Guang-Ren Duan +2 more
- 01 Aug 2006
TL;DR: Based on H∞ theory and state-observer theory, a method of designing controllers for time-delay systems with sensor failures is presented in this article, where the controller designed by the proposed method can guarantee the stability of the resultant closed-loop systems and keep certain H ∞ norm performance in the normal condition as well as in the event of sensor failures.
