The invention discloses a method for preparing a porous carbon fiber electromagnetic wave-absorbing agent. The method comprises the following steps of (1) sequentially adding PVP, tetraethylortho silicate and ferric acetylacetonate to N,N-dimethyl formamide and stirring the N,N-dimethyl formamide at high temperature until the PVP, the tetraethylortho silicate and the ferric acetylacetonate are completely dissolved; (2) putting the solution prepared in the step (1) into an injector, carrying out electrostatic spinning, collecting a product obtained after spinning, carrying out drying treatmenton the product under vacuum and putting the dried product into argon for calcination treatment; and (3) putting the calcined product obtained in the step (2) into HF for soaking, carrying out centrifugal separation after soaking and collecting the separated product. Compared with a traditional wave-absorbing material, the porous carbon fiber material prepared by the method has the advantages thatthe porous carbon fiber material has high absorption strength at a relatively small thickness, and furthermore, the wave-absorbing property of the material is adjustable due to an adjustable and controllable pore structure of the material.
