Understanding the high-electrocatalytic performance of two-dimensional MoS2 nanosheets and their composite materials
TL;DR: In this article, a survey aimed at summarizing the recent efforts in addressing electrocatalytic issues involved in hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and oxygen reduction reaction (ORR) activities using 2D MoS2 materials.

Insight into the correlation of Pt–support interactions with electrocatalytic activity and durability in fuel cells
TL;DR: In this article, a review of the Pt-support interaction is presented, in the hope of revealing how the metal-support interactions affect the activity and durability of the composite catalysts.

Reversible Switching of Catalytic Activity by Shuttling an Atom into and out of Gold Nanoclusters
TL;DR: It is reported that the loss of one central atom in Au25 (resulting in Au24 ) enhances the catalytic activity in the oxidation of methane compared to the original Au25, and the activity can be readily switched through shuttling the central atom into Au24 and out of Au25.

Ag 2 Au 50 (PET) 36 Nanocluster: Dimeric Assembly of Au 25 (PET) 18 Enabled by Silver Atoms
Xu Liu,Govindarajan Saranya,Xinyu Huang,Xinglian Cheng,Rui Wang,Mingyang Chen,Chunfeng Zhang,Tao Li,Yan Zhu +8 more
TL;DR: The dimeric assembly of Au 25(PET)18 (PET = 2-phenylethanethiol), where two Au25( PET)18 monomers are bridged together by two Ag atoms to form the Ag2Au50 (PET)36 dimer, an exclusive mesomer which has not been found in any other chiral metal nanoclusters belonging to the racemic category.
