Mitochondrial DNA and their nuclear copies in parasitic wasp Pteromalus puparum: A comparative analysis in Chalcidoidea
TL;DR: This study shows unusually high rates of mitochondrial evolution and considerable variation in NUMT accumulation in Chalcidoidea, and provides evidence that a faster nuclear degradation rate contributes to the reduced NUMT numbers in P. puparum.

Method for collecting middle-and-large-sized foraging insects of rice
Xue-Xin Chen,Deqiang Pu,Mingqing Gao,Jiafu Liu,Min Shi,Gongyin Ye,Shoupeng Hou,Qiong Wu +7 more
- 19 Oct 2011
TL;DR: In this article, a method for collecting middle-and-large-sized foraging insects of rice is described. But the method is not suitable for field work due to the light support and a firm structure.
