Electrochemical behavior of Zn anodes in Zn/air batteries for nano-roughened ZnO structure synthesis
Yi-Hao Pai,Gong-Ru Lin +1 more
- 04 Mar 2010
TL;DR: In this paper, the nano-roughened ZnO structure synthesized by electrochemical process in Zn-air battery without injected any external energy at room temperature is characterized.
Chirp of color-free injection-locked reflective semiconductor optical amplifier transmitter in 200GHz AWG based WDM-PON after 25km metropolitan transmission
Tzu-Kang Cheng,Gong-Cheng Lin,Hai-Lin Wang,Gong-Ru Lin +3 more
- 04 May 2008
TL;DR: Chirp analysis of color-less RSOA transmitter with 2-3 ASE injection-locked modes for 1.25 Gb/s metropolitan WDM-PON network reaching BER of 10-9 under receiving power below -29.5 dBm and power penalty of < 0.1 dB after 25 km transmission is demonstrated in this paper.
Delay-time tunable mode-locked erbium-doped fiber ring laser
Gong-Ru Lin,Yao-Ling Chen,Yung-Cheng Chang,Yinchieh Lai +3 more
- 17 Oct 2001
TL;DR: In this paper, a delay-time tunable, actively mode-locked erbium-doped fiber ring laser is demonstrated, with phase and delay time of optical pulse-train with repetition rate of about 500 MHz can be adjusted with maximum tuning range of up to 340 degree(s) and nearly 1 period.
All-optical NRZ-to-RZ data format conversion with optically injected laser diode or semiconductor optical amplifier
TL;DR: In this article, an all-optical non-return to zero (NRZ) to retum-to-zero (RZ) format conversion of a STM-64 date-stream for synchronous digital hierarchy (SDH) or an OC-192 data stream for synchronized optical network (SONET) in high-speed fiber-optic communication link is performed.
The performance of single-mode light source generated from EDFA fiber ring cavity under Fabry-Perot laser diode injection
Chung-Fei Lee,Gong-Ru Lin +1 more
- 03 Dec 2001
TL;DR: In this article, the authors demonstrate single mode operation of a dual-directional pumped erbium-doped fiber laser (EDFL) by using feedback injection technology, which can be obtained by driving the FPLD at a biased current of nearly threshold, which leads to a lasing mode of the EDFL with linewidth and SMSR of 0.1 nm and 25 dB.
