Role of prognostic scores in predicting in-hospital mortality and failure of non-invasive ventilation in adults with COVID-19
Francesca Innocenti,Cristian Lazzari,Elisa Paolucci,Anna De Paris,Alessia Lagomarsini,Federica Guerra,Patrizia Alleonato,Lisa Casalini,Michele Buggea,Francesca Caldi,Maurizio Zanobetti,Filippo Pieralli,Giulia Guazzini,Lisa Lastraioli,Fabio Luise,Alessandro Milia,Lucia Sammicheli,Lucia Maddaluni,Federico Lavorini,Riccardo Pini +19 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the prognostic performance of different scores for the identification of subjects with acute respiratory failure by COVID-19, at risk of in-hospital mortality and NIV failure was tested.
Prognostic determinants in patients with non traumatic intracerebral hemorrhage: a real life report.
Luca Masotti,Elisa Grifoni,Lavinia Migli,Alessandro Dei,Rosario Spina,Italo Calamai,Giulia Guazzini,Irene Micheletti,Eleonora Cosentino,Gabriele Pinto,Simone Vanni +10 more
TL;DR: In real life, prognosis of ICH is associated with clinical and radiological determinants, and ENW, hematoma enlargement, Hemphill ICH score ≥3 and midline shift >10 mm were associated with short-term mortality risk, while age with 90-day mRS ≥4 was found as independent risk factor.

Incidence of lower limb deep vein thrombosis in patients with COVID-19 pneumonia through different waves of SARS-CoV-2 pandemic: A multicenter prospective study
Filippo Pieralli,Fulvio Pomero,Lorenzo Corbo,Alberto Fortini,Giulia Guazzini,Lisa Lastraioli,Fabio Luise,Antonio Mancini,Lucia Maddaluni,Alessandro Milia,Lucia Sammicheli,Filippo Mani,Rossella Marcucci +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluated the incidence of DVT in patients hospitalized with COVID-19 pneumonia in a non-ICU setting according to the different waves of the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.
The Triage ICH Model for Predicting Prognosis of Patients with Non Traumatic Supratentorial Intracerebral Hemorrhage Admitted in Non ICU Setting: A Real World Brief Report
Luca Masotti,Elisa Grifoni,Alessandro Dei,Rosario Spina,Italo Calamai,Giulia Guazzini,Eleonora Cosentino,Ester Latini +7 more
- 08 Aug 2019
TL;DR: The Triage ICH model, which includes as variables Glasgow Coma Scale score < 13, ICH volume ≥ 30 mL and intraventricular bleeding, has been proposed as effective and safe tool for identifying patients with supratentorial ICH requiring Intensive Care Unit (ICU) admission.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors evaluated the characteristics of patients with moderate-to-severe COVID-19 treated with remdesivir, and their outcomes during hospitalization, and found that remdesavir was well tolerated, adverse drug reactions (ADRs) being reported in 2.3% of patients.
