TL;DR: After preoperative renutrition, after malnourished patients at risk of refeeding syndrome were compared, there was a decrease in morbidity and the rate of anastomotic complications in favor of the RP group, which underscores the middle-term importance of nutritional management in view of preserving the benefits of preoperativerenutrition.
