The challenge of ad-hoc computing is to find the way of taking advantage of spare cycles in an efficient way that takes into account all capabilities of the devices and inter connections available to them. In this paper we explore distributed evolutionary computation based on the Ruby on Rails framework, which overlays a Model-View-Controller on evolutionary computation. It allows anybody with a web browser (that is, mostly everybody connected to the Internet) to participate in an evolutionary computation experiment. Using a straight forward farming model, we consider different factors, such as the size of the population used. We are mostly interested in how they impact on performance, but also the scaling behavior when a non-trivial number of computers is applied to the problem. Experiments show the impact of different packet sizes on performance, as well as a quite limited scaling behavior, due tothe characteristics of the server. Several solutions for that problem are proposed.

Geospatial processing tasks like solar potential analyses or floodplain investigations within flood scenarios are often complex and deal with large amounts of data. If such analysis operations are performed in distributed web-based systems, technical capabilities are mostly not sufficient. Major shortcomings comprise the potentially long execution times and the vast amount of messaging overhead that arise from common poll-based approaches. To overcome these issues, an approach for an event-driven architecture for web-based geospatial processing is proposed within this article. First, this article presents a thorough qualitative discussion of different available technologies for push-based notifications. The aim of this discussion is to find the most suitable push-based messaging technologies for application with OGC Web Processing Services (WPS). Based on this, an event-driven architecture for asynchronous geospatial processing with the WPS is presented, building on the Web Socket Protocol as the transport protocol and the OGC Event Service as the message-oriented middleware. The proposed architecture allows pushing notifications to clients once a task has completed. This paradigm enables the efficient execution of web-based geospatial processing tasks as well as the integration of geographical analyses into event-driven real-time workflows.

Di dalam sebuah website atau Aplikasi Pembagian Hak Waris Berdasarkan Hukum Negara tidak terdapat desain dalam kontennya, karena itu terlihat sangat monoton dan kurang menarik, sehinnga penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat sebuah desain yaitu landing page agar aplikasi yang sudah dibuat terlihat lebih rapih dan menarik. Untuk membuat konten yang menarik dibutuhkan suatu tuntutan , karena itu kami melakukan perancangan ini merujuk pada teori Content Management System. “Menurut Alamsyah Achmad. dkk., (2016) Content Management System atau Sistem manajemen konten adalah perangkat lunak yang memungkinkan seseorang untuk menambahkan dan/atau memanipulasi (mengubah) isi dari suatu situs WEB tanpa memerlukan campur tangan WEB master atau WEB designer (Nurrosat, 2009). Adapun metodologi penelitiannya adalah menggunakan 2 metode yaitu tahapan pengumpulan data yang bersumber dari wawancara atau konsultasi dan tahapan penelitian yang menggunakan metode watergfall yaitu metode pendekatan paling awal yang digunakan untuk pengembangan perangkat lunak. Urutan dalam Metode Waterfall bersifat serial yang dimulai dari proses perencanaan, analisa, desain, dan implementasi pada sistem. Dan dari perancangan tersebut penulis mendapatkan produk konten yaitu “Perancangan Content Management System Pada Aplikasi Perhitungan Dan Pembagian Hak Waris Berdasarkan Hukum Negara Berbasis Web”.Kesimpulan telah dihasilkan sebuah konten manajemen dengan demikian dari hasil perancangan dapat diambil kesimpulan yaitu menjadi pendorong penulis untuk melengkapi aplikasi tersebut agar terlihat lebih indah dan rapih serta bisa menjadi lebih interaktif oleh masing masing pengguna.Kata Kunci: Desain Web, Halaman Depan, Ahli Waris
