TL;DR: In this paper , a recently developed model of familial Alzheimer's disease (fAD), expressing Swedish, Arctic and Austrian mutations in App (hAbetaSAA), has been shown to be a useful amyloidogenic model which recapitulates many aspects of human AD, including plaque distribution and microglial transcriptional changes.
1564 Analyzing the effect of radiofrequency catheter ablation on tissue using a novel 3D imaging pipeline
Gianna Ferron,A. Knesis,Nayha Patel,Yuhan Jung,Shawna Linehan,Timothy Ragan,Jay Budrewicz,Douglas Parrillo,Rami Tzafriri +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a serial two-photon plus (STP2) pipeline was developed to visualize and quantify ablated tissue through imaging of sub-micron cellular features across treated porcine liver and kidney samples.
A novel whole‐brain imaging pipeline for high resolution spatial and temporal measurements of amyloid‐beta plaque dynamics in pre‐clinical Alzheimer’s Disease animal models
Tim Ragan,Gianna Ferron,Stefan Linehan,Michael Sasner,Dylan Garceau,Kevin J Elk +5 more
- 01 Dec 2022
TL;DR: In this paper , a high-throughput whole-brain imaging pipeline for preclinical AD models was developed to quantitatively track plaque progression as a function of brain region across time while producing indexed tissue sections for secondary staining and analysis.
A novel 3D imaging method to establish baseline amyloid‐beta plaque load and analyze compound efficacy in pre‐clinical Alzheimer’s disease animal models
Gianna Ferron,Stefan T Linehan,Tim Ragan,Kevin J Elk,Dylan Garceau,Michael Sasner +5 more
- 01 Dec 2023
TL;DR: A novel Serial Two‐Photon Plus (STP2) pipeline is developed to quantify plaque progression and depression as a function of brain region, resulting in indexed brain sections for secondary analysis using MALDI HiPLEX‐IHC with imaging mass spectrometry (IMS).
