TL;DR: In this article, a method and apparatus for voltage-controlled oscillator selection in a multi-mode system having multiple VOC oscillators is disclosed, where a calibration operation is performed to calculate overlap regions and frequency ranges that overlap such that the overlap region may be generated by two VOCs with adjacent frequency ranges.
