TL;DR: The law-book of Hammurabi, discovered in Susa, the capital of Elam, by the French explorers de Morgan and Scheil, while excavating during the months of December, I90I, and January, I902, has been edited by Scheilt in a handsome volume, with a translation in French, atranscription of the cuneiform text, and a photograph of the inscription.
