Preparation, properties, and reactions with sulphur dioxide of triphenylphosphine oxide complexes of manganese(II) thiocyanate. Crystal structures of [{Mn(OPPh3)2(NCS)(µ-NCS)}2], [Mn(OPPh3)4(NCS)2], and (PPh3O)(PPh3OH)(HSO4), a derivative of sulphuric acid formed under ambient air oxidation of sulphur dioxide

TL;DR: In this article, the results of the analysis of manganese(II) thiocyanate with triphenylphosphine oxide have been reported, which has been characterised by elemental analyses, i.e. spectroscopy and magnetic susceptibility measurements.

Notes. Reaction of manganese(II) arsine oxide complexes with sulphur dioxide: some unexpected products. The X-ray crystal structure of [(Ph3AsO)2H]I3
Brian Beagley,Oraib El-Sayrafi,George A. Gott,David G. Kelly,Charles A. McAuliffe,Anthony G. Mackie,Philomena P. MacRory,Robin G. Pritchard +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the reaction of [Mn(OAsPh3)4I2] with sulphur dioxide in toluene yields two unexpected products, [(Ph3AsO)2H]I3 and AsPh3I]I 3, have been isolated from the reaction filtrate.

The X-ray crystal structure of trans-bis(sulphur dioxide)tetrakis(triphenylphosphineoxide)manganese(II) di-iodide, a compound which undergoes demi-reversible binding of sulphur dioxide: the first crystallographically characterised example of O-bonded sulphur dioxide in a transition metal complex
TL;DR: The X-ray crystal structure of the complex trans-[Mn(OPPh3)4(SO2)2]I2 shows it to contain O-bonded Sulphur dioxide groups; one of these can be lost to form Mn(OP Ph3) 4(SO 2)I2, and the reaction is reversible as mentioned in this paper.
