Vertical Growth of 2D Amorphous FePO4 Nanosheet on Ni Foam: Outer and Inner Structural Design for Superior Water Splitting
Lei Yang,Zenglong Guo,Jing Huang,Yaoning Xi,Rongjie Gao,Ge Su,Wei Wang,Wei Wang,Lixin Cao,Bohua Dong +9 more
TL;DR: A novel strategy involving outer and inner structural engineering is developed for superior water splitting via in situ vertical growth of 2D amorphous FePO4 nanosheets on Ni foam (Am Fe PO4 /NF) to strengthen the electrocatalytic performance.

Preparation, characterization and photocatalytic activity of Co-doped ZnO powders
TL;DR: ZnO powders with different Co2+ doping concentrations (0, 05, 1, 3, 3 and 5 ) were prepared by the hydrothermal method and characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), UV-vis diffuse reflectance spectrometer, and photochemical reaction instrument as discussed by the authors.

Colloidal synthesis of VSe2 single-layer nanosheets as novel electrocatalysts for the hydrogen evolution reaction
TL;DR: A one-pot colloidal route to synthesize VSe2, a new type of metallic single-layer nanosheet that possesses extraordinary electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) performance with a low onset overpotential, a small Tafel slope of 88 mV per decade, and an exceptional overpot potential of 206 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm(-2).

Optical and electrochemical properties of Cu-doped NiO films prepared by electrochemical deposition
TL;DR: In this article, the effects of Cu content on the morphology, structure, optical and electrochromic properties of NiO films were investigated by means of scanning electron microscope (SEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), ultraviolet-visible spectrophotometer (UV-vis) and cyclic voltammetry (CV), respectively.
