Effect of convection on the microstructure of the MnBi/Bi eutectic
TL;DR: For the quasi-regular fibrous microstructure of MnBi formed at freezing rates of 9 mm/h and above, good agreement between experimental and theoretical results for fiber spacing, freezing rate, radial position, and ampoule rotation rate is found.
