Retrospective Multicenter Cohort Study Shows Early Interferon Therapy Is Associated with Favorable Clinical Responses in COVID-19 Patients.
Nan Wang,Yan Zhan,Linyu Zhu,Zhibing Hou,Feng Liu,Pinhong Song,Feng Qiu,Xiaolin Wang,Xiafei Zou,Deyun Wan,Xiaosong Qian,Shanshan Wang,Yabi Guo,Hao Yu,Miao Cui,Gangling Tong,Yunsheng Xu,Zhihua Zheng,Yingying Lu,Peng Hong,Peng Hong,Peng Hong +21 more
TL;DR: It is concluded that administration of IFN-α2b during the early stage of COVID-19 may induce favorable clinical responses and reduce mortality and accelerated recovery compared to lopinavir/ritonavir (LPV/r) alone.

Fluorine-doped carbon quantum dots with deep-red emission for hypochlorite determination and cancer cell imaging
Boran Cheng,Lei Cao,Chen Li,Fanglin Huo,Qian-Fang Meng,Gangling Tong,Xuan Wu,Lin-Lin Bu,Lang Rao,Shubin Wang +9 more
TL;DR: Researchers developed fluorine-doped carbon quantum dots with deep-red emission, achieving 36% quantum yield, for hypochlorite detection with 15.4 nmol/L LOD and cancer cell imaging with high sensitivity and mitochondria targeting.

Intratumoral CD8+ T cells as a potential positive predictor of chemoimmunotherapy response in PD-L1-negative advanced gastric cancer patients: a retrospective cohort study
Gangling Tong,Mei-qin Zhu,Yaoxu Chen,Shubo Wang,Boran Cheng,Shubin Wang,Wangjun Liao +6 more
TL;DR: Intratumoral CD8+ T cells may be a potential positive predictive factor of clinical response for chemoimmunotherapy in PD-L1-negative advanced GC patients, although the results need to be further confirmed in a cohort with more subjects due to a limited sample sizes in present study.

Association of neutralizing breadth against SARS-CoV-2 with inoculation orders of heterologous prime-boost vaccines
Yufang Zhu,Yingying Lu,Caili Zhou,Gangling Tong,Manman Gao,Yan Zhan,Yan Wang,Ran Liang,Yawei Li,Tianjiao Gao,Li Li Wang,Muyun Zhang,Jin Cheng,Jun Gong,Ji-meng Wang,Wei Zheng Zhang,Junhua Qi,Miao Cui,Longchao Zhu,Feng-Lian Xiao,Linyu Zhu,Yunsheng Xu,Zhihua Zheng,Zhi-Fu Zhou,Z Cheng,Peng Hong +25 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors found that the inoculation order of heterologous vaccines was associated with the capability of neutralizing SARS-CoV-2 variants but not the original strain that the vaccines were based on.

Treatment efficacy and prognosis analysis in locally advanced or metastatic colorectal cancer patients with hydronephrosis.
TL;DR: Univariate and multivariate analyses showed that CA19-9 level might be a prognostic factor for locally advanced and metastatic CRC patients with hydronephrosis, and targeted drugs in combination with chemotherapy improve the treatment efficacy and prognosis of patients.
