Placenta-derived multipotent cells have no effect on the size and number of DMH-induced colon tumors in rats.
Hanna Svitina,Kyryk,Inessa Skrypkina,M. D. Kuchma,T. Bukreieva,P. O. Areshkov,Yulia M. Shablii,Denis Y,P. P. Klymenko,L. V. Garmanchuk,Ostapchenko Li,Galyna Lobintseva,Shablii +12 more
TL;DR: The data of the present study indicated that PDMCs may engraft in different tissues but do not significantly affect DMH-induced tumor growth during short-term observations.
Phenotypic heterogenecity of hematopoietic progenitor cells from placental tissue: comarative analysis with umbilical cord blood and fetal liver
M. D. Kuchma,V. A. Shablii,V. M. Kyryk,A. Onishchenko,Yu. M. Shablii,L. L. Lukash,Galyna Lobintseva +6 more
- 03 Nov 2013
TL;DR: The study of placental hematopoietic progenitor cells and comparison of their properties with other fetal and adult HPCs is necessary for assessing of their possible clinical application.
Mesenchymal and trophoblast immunophenotype of multipotent stromal cells from human placenta
V. A. Shablii,M. D. Kuchma,V. M. Kyryk,Hanna Svitina,Yu. M. Shablii,L. L. Lukash,Galyna Lobintseva +6 more
TL;DR: It was shown that the placental multipotent mesenchymal stromal cells of placental tissue express the trophoblast markers: human chorionic gonadotropin, pan-cytokeratin, epidermal growth factor receptor HER2.
Cryopreservation of placenta tissue allows isolating viable mesenchymal and hematopoietic stem cells
V. Nikulina,M. D. Kuchma,T. Bukreieva,I. Zahanich,V. M. Kyryk,Galyna Lobintseva,V. A. Shablii +6 more
TL;DR: Control cryopreservation of placental tissue under GMP requirements allows to obtain proliferative active stem cells with suitable for clinical issues characteristics, and quantitative analysis revealed difference in efficiency of HSCs preservation between certain variants of cryoprotectants.

Transplantation of placenta-derived multipotent cells in rats with dimethylhydrazine-induced colon cancer decreases survival rate.
Hanna Svitina,Inessa Skrypkina,P. O. Areshkov,V. M. Kyryk,T. Bukreieva,P. P. Klymenko,Liudmyla V. Garmanchuk,Galyna Lobintseva,V. A. Shablii +8 more
TL;DR: Intravenous allogeneic transplantation of PDMCs to rats at middle phase of DMH-induced colon carcinogenesis did not significantly influence the number of neoplasms and the parameters of mean and total tumours, but led to an increase in size of the most invasiveness tumours.
