Scuderi,Francois Wildi +64 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors observed the HD 100546 environment with high-contrast imaging exploiting several different observing modes of SPHERE, including data sets with and without coronagraphs, dual band imaging, integral field spectroscopy and polarimetry.

TL;DR: In this article, the Herbig Ae star HD169142 with VLT/SPHERE instruments InfraRed Dual-band Imager and Spectrograph (IRDIS) (K1K2 and H2H3 bands) and the Integral Field Spectrogram (IFS) (Y, J and H bands) was used to detect several bright blobs at ∼ 180 mas separation from the star, and a faint arc-like structure in the IFS data.
Very deep images of the innermost regions of the β Pictoris debris disc at L
Julien Milli,Julien Milli,Julien Milli,Anne-Marie Lagrange,Anne-Marie Lagrange,Dimitri Mawet,Olivier Absil,J. C. Augereau,J. C. Augereau,David Mouillet,David Mouillet,Anthony Boccaletti,J. H. Girard,Gael Chauvin,Gael Chauvin +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, a high angular resolution image of the disc of β Pictoris at 3.8 µm was presented, where the innermost parts of the debris disc and its morphology were investigated.
Astrometric and photometric accuracies in high contrast imaging: The SPHERE speckle calibration tool (SpeCal)
R. Galicher,Anthony Boccaletti,Dino Mesa,Philippe Delorme,Raffaele Gratton,Maud Langlois,A-M. Lagrange,Anne-Lise Maire,H. Weber +23 more
TL;DR: The SPHERE consortium developed a software called Speckle calibration tool (SpeCal) to minimize the stellar light halo that prevents us from detecting faint sources like exoplanets or circumstellar disks as mentioned in this paper.
Preparation for an unsupervised massive analysis of SPHERE high-contrast data with PACO. Optimization and benchmarking on 24 solar-type stars
A. Chomez,Anne-Marie Lagrange,Philippe Delorme,Maud Langlois,Gael Chauvin,O. Flasseur,Jules Dallant,F. Philipot,Segolene Bergeon,D. Albert,N. Meunier,P. Rubini +11 more
- 28 May 2023
TL;DR: In this article , the authors used PACO, a recently developed new-generation algorithm that has been shown to outperform classical methods, to search for exoplanets throughout the whole ESO/VLT-SPHERE archive with an improved and unsupervised data analysis algorithm.
