Combustion analysis on a DI diesel engine with hydrogen in dual fuel mode
TL;DR: In this paper, a direct injection (DI) diesel engine using hydrogen with diesel and hydrogen with diethyl ether (DEE) as the ignition source was evaluated and it was observed that hydrogen-DEE operation results in increased brake thermal efficiency by 20% and oxides of nitrogen (NOx) showed an increase of 13% compared to diesel.

Studies on Port Injected Hydrogen in a Dual Fuel D.I. Diesel Engine
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors used a single cylinder, AV1 Kirloskar, DI Diesel engine with a single injector to inject hydrogen fuel during the intake stroke and showed that the NO X emission decreases from 1806 ppm for diesel to 1690 ppm at full load for 30o and 60o injection duration for hydrogen.
