Host range and habitats of the aphid parasitoid Diaeretiella rapae (Hymenoptera: Aphidiidae) in Washington State.
Keith S. Pike,Petr Starý,T. Miller,D. Allison,G. Graf,L. Boydston,Ross H. Miller,Robert L. Gillespie +7 more
TL;DR: Host aphids of the parasitoid Diaeretiella rapae (M’Intosh,) are defined for Washington State, together with a listing of world findings, and D. rapae was shown to switch or alternate successfully between hosts, which suggests that certain host habitats might be used in conjunction with farmlands to enhance host opportunities for the Parasitoid and improve its population stability.

Primary and secondary parasitoids (Hymenoptera) of aphids (Hemiptera: Aphididae) on blueberry and other Vaccinium in the Pacific Northwest.
TL;DR: Blueberry scorch virus, a commercially important Carlavirus in highbush blueberry, Vaccinium corymbosum L., is vectored by aphids, and may effectively augment the natural spring populations by creating overlapping generations.

Eriosomatine aphids (Hemiptera: Aphididae: Eriosomatinae) associated with moss and roots of conifer and willow in forests of the Pacific Northwest of North America
Keith S. Pike,G. Graf,Robert G. Foottit,H.E.L. Maw,C.D. Von Dohlen,J. Harpel,A. Pantoja,Susan Y. Emmert,A.M. Hagerty +8 more
TL;DR: Primary host forms of C. canadensis and T. populimonilis are described for the first time and the morphotypes from the secondary hosts were confirmed through deoxyribonucleic acid sequence matching with those from the primary hosts.

A new Aphidius Nees (Hymenoptera, Braconidae, Aphidiinae) of Ericaphis fimbriata (Richards) (Hemiptera, Aphididae) and key to parasitoids of blueberry aphid in the Pacific Northwest.
Keith S. Pike,Petr Starý,G. Graf,David A. Raworth,Sneh Mathur,Lynell K. Tanigoshi,Todd Murray +6 more
TL;DR: This aphidiine is a parasitoid of the blueberry aphid, Ericaphis fimbriata (Richards), widely found associated with the commercial highbush blueberries, Vaccinium corymbosum L., in southwestern British Columbia, Washington, and in northeastern Oregon.

Description of a new species of Braconidae, Monoctonus allisoni (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Aphidiinae), and discussion of the aphid-parasitoid guild for Nasonovia spp. (Hemiptera: Aphididae) in Northwestern United States
Keith S Pike,Petr Starý,G. Graf +2 more
- 01 Jan 2003
TL;DR: This is the first native Monoctonus in North America known to attack Nasonovia spp, and a key to the parasitoid guild of Nasonova is provided.
