Vibrational spectra and assignment of poly-(p-phenylene sulfide) and its oligomers
Paolo Piaggio,Carla Cuniberti,Giovanna Dellepiane,E. Campani,G. Gorini,G. Masetti,Marino Novi,Giovanni Petrillo +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the spectral properties of poly(p-phenylene sulfide) and some of its oligomers have been investigated and a tentative symmetry-based assignment for the observed modes is given.

Resonance Raman spectra of highly oriented trans polyacetylene
TL;DR: In this article, the polarization properties of the Raman active phonons of trans polyacetylene have been determined for different scattering configurations at various exciting wavelengths, and it has been shown that the dispersion of Raman bands originates from a distribution of conjugation lengths.

Polarized Raman spectra of oriented all-trans-β-carotene in polyethylene films
TL;DR: Polarized Raman spectra at 77 K of all trans-β-carotene stretch-oriented in polyethylene films are reported for the first time in this paper, and the measurements were carried out either in the 90° and back-scattering geometries at excitation wavelengths in resonance with the lowest allowed 1 B u « 1 g electronic transition.
