A post-tensioned pile anchor foundation and method therefor creates a void or highly compressible space between a drilled or driven pile anchor surrounding a post-tensioned anchor bolt or tendon and the bottom of a foundation cap. The void or space can be formed by compressible spacers or void forming elements placed between the top of the pile anchor and the concrete cap. As the anchor bolt or tendon is post-tensioned against the cap, the void forming element is compressed or crushed, allowing the pile anchor to be pulled upwardly toward the cap, developing pull out resistance, and the cap to be pulled downwardly against the surrounding soil to provide a secure foundation for a tower or other structure to be supported thereon.

PURPOSE:To easily perform the construction work of in-situ prestressed concrete pile having high strength by a method in which an iron bar cage is inserted into a pile pit, a solidifying agent is placed into the lower part of the pit to fix the lower part of the iron bar cage, a tensile force is given to the main iron bars, and then concrete is placed. CONSTITUTION:In the first place, pile pits 2 with given diameter and length are excavated in given places under the ground 1, and an iron bar cage 5 formed by connecting upper and lower iron bar cages 5a and 5b by a coupler 8 is inserted into the pit 2. In this case, each of the iron bar cages 5a and 5b is formed of the main iron bars 3 cylindrically arranged in parallel in the longitudinal direction and ringed connection iron bars 4 connecting the main iron bars 3. A solidifying agent 6 is placed into the lower part of the pit 2 to fix the lower part of the iron bar cage 5, a tension device 12 is connected to the upper end of the main iron bars 3, and the main iron bars 3 are pulled up. Under this condition, concrete 7 is placed into the pit 2, and after the concrete has set, the tensile force is released to complete the prestressed concrete pile construction work.

In-situ prestressed concrete pile construction work

PURPOSE:To decrease a construction cost, by a method wherein arrangement of bar, in which the upper part of a pile main arrangement of bar forms a PC steel bar constituted in an unbond and the lower part forms a steel bar for reinforced concrete, is installed in an excavated hole, and after concrete is placed therein, the PC steel bar is stretched. CONSTITUTION:The whole of pile arrangement of bar forms a connection main arrangement of bar 4 in which a given upper section L, on which high bending moment is exerted, forms a PC steel bar 1, and a lower section l forms a steel bar 3 for reinforced concrete connected to the PC steel bar 1 by means of a coupler 2. An anchoring metal 5 is attached to the lower end or the connection of the connection main arrangement of bar 4, and arrangement of bar in which the whole surface of the PC steel bar 1 is formed in an unbond 6, is installed in an excavated hole 7. Thereafter, after concrete 14 is placed and cured, given tension is exerted on the PC steel bar 1 from the top of a pile, and the PC steel bar 1 is anchored at 8 to the top part of the pile to exert prestress on concrete 14 at the upper section L.

Method of constructing cast-in-place concrete pile

PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of prestress by a method in which the end of a steel material is projected from a footing, the steel material is tensed by using a fixing tool to introduce prestress force into the steel material, and a pile or continuous wall and the footing are integrated. CONSTITUTION:A PC pile 14 in which plural PC steel materials 10 are buried in a tense state in concrete is driven into the ground 16, the upper end 26 of the PC pile 14 is cut off so slightly project the pile head 18 to the ground surface, and the steel material 10 is left as an upper end exposure 28 without being cut off. Concrete is placed to form a footing 24, and the upper end of the steel material 10 is slightly projected upwards by forming a recessed fixing portion 30 on the upper end of the footing 24. A fixing tool 32 is inserted into the fixing portion 30, the steel material 10 is tensed to introduce prestress force between the pile head 18 and the footing 24, and thereby the PC pile 14 and the footing 24 are integrated.

Center entire-pressed infrastructure

PURPOSE: To provide a method for building robust pier foundation wherein high resistance against upward vertical load and horizontal shearing force are obtained through prestress which is provided by passing tension member through pier foundation, thus preventing buildings from collapsing for lack of durability of foundation. CONSTITUTION: While pushing steel pipe 1 in the ground, inner earth and sand are dug out to form pier foundation hole 10, into which cage-shaped rods 5 for foundation pile are inserted. In this case, cage-shaped rods are prefitted with sheaths 6 in the longitudinal direction. Then, tension member 7 after being inserted into the sheath 6 is fitted with anchor plate at its lower end and temporarily fixed at its upper end. Concrete is placed in the hole 10 to form pier foundation pole 3, on which footing 4 and surface pole 9 are built. After applying a given prestress through tension of the tension material 7 on the upper end of the footing 4, the end is fitted to the pressure supporting plate 16 and grout is poured in sheaths 6.
