Particle-scale modelling of injected hydrogen and coke co-combustion in the raceway of an ironmaking blast furnace
TL;DR: In this paper , an experimentally validated CFD-DEM model is adopted to investigate the dynamics, microstructure and thermochemical behaviours in the raceway of a BF with hydrogen injection operations, which include raceway evolution, force distribution and the co-combustion characteristics of hydrogen and coke.

Investigation on separation characteristics of gas–liquid two-phase flow around the perforated tube
TL;DR: In this article , the authors investigated the evolution characteristics of gas-liquid interface and the variation of parameters such as separation efficiency and pressure drop under plug flow and slug flow, and the prediction methods of air separation efficiency, pressure drop and other parameters based on Weber number and liquid phase Reynolds number were obtained in accordance with dimensional analysis and minimum kinetic energy principle.
