Paenibacillus selenii sp. nov., isolated from selenium mineral soil
TL;DR: The phenotypic, chemotaxonomic and genotypic data indicate that strain W126(T), a Gram-reaction-positive, spore-forming, rod-shaped, facultatively anaerobic bacterium, motile by means of peritrichous flagella, represents a novel species of the genus Paenibacillus, for which the name PaenIBacillus selenii sp.

Selenium-oxidized rhizobium T3F4 with good colonization capacity and application thereof

Abstract: The invention belongs to the technical field of agricultural microbes, and particularly discloses selenium-oxidized rhizobium T3F4 with a good colonization capacity and application thereof. The preservation number of the strain is CCTCC NO:M 2019057. The strain has an oxidation effect on elemental selenium, the strain is fluorescently labeled and inoculated in potting soil, at 21 days, the cell number of the strain in rhizosphere soil and Chinese cabbage leaves is maintained at 6.6 million/g (dry weight) and 0.2 million/g (fresh weight), and the strain shows a very strong colonization capacity. In addition, elemental selenium or sodium selenite is added in potting, and the T3F4 can increase the content of available selenium in the soil and significantly increase the selenium content of each part of Chinese cabbage. Therefore, the rhizobium T3F4 can be prepared into a plant selenium-rich agent, and has a good application prospect in the biological promotion of selenium enrichment of plants.
